Do you use wool blankets?

Is it just me or are they getting harder to find? I live regional so not a whole lot of choices. Yes you can buy them online but if i'm dropping $100 - $200 on a blanket I need to feel it first.

Yes we do. My children have onkaparinga blankets. About 5 years ago they were about $220 each for a single blanket but money worth spending. And they last forever.

Do you use these blankets with a doona too? Or just blankets and sheet?

Yes they go in the machine on a regular cold cycle, no shrinking.
They smell funky until they dry but that's just wet wool for you.
If its mid winter (3° nights) then I'll put a light doona on their beds as well, but they usually kick it off.

Yeah they can be expensive. Ebay has second hand but even those go for like $80

As a kid i had one with the satiny edging, but i haven't seen one in my entire adult life! They were so good!

Yes my mum had them. I swear you could buy them at your local target back in the day but now you can't get anything thats good quality.

My kids have wool minijumbuk 289 for a single bed but she’s had it 4 yrs now and looks brand new. Waited for it to go on sale. She only uses that on top of her. I’m not sure if your meant to but I throw it in the machine at least before summer and before winter starts and then if need be if there are any accidents. I’ve slept with her and we have been warm all night
