Of course. If two particular friends ask if I'm busy I say I have an appointment. They usually want me to run errands or babysit. I'm the first to offer to help in an emergency, but I've learned if I do general favours once, I'll be the first port of call every single time.

I lie constantly to MIL as well, to keep the peace. She's constantly trying to bait people so she can tell them off. No idea why.

Under oath no. White lies yes. For example im unwell to get out of an appt when reality i cant be bothered or i have no money to get put of social outings. Truth it i dont but could have used credit but then id be in strife later. Lies that arent harming anyone in my opinion os ok. For example do i look ok yes. Whwn deep down u hate the outfit.

If it’s not something they can change, don’t tell them. I am honest if shipping with a friend like somethings too tight or really doesn’t suit them

A girl I know of is being charged for murder of a young child she was babysitting.
My theory (There’s plenty of rumours) is the boyfriend that was there at the time did it and that she lied that it was an accident and lied that the boyfriend wasn’t there. I also believe said boyfriend would have threatened her and her children if she told the truth.
Obviously I don’t know the truth.

Point of the story if it was to protect my children I would lie under oath, I would rather sit in jail charged for murder.
