So restrictions are being lifted now and we can visit people etc. Is anyone else nervous about letting their kids have play dates and sleepovers?

I mean I was nervous about sleep overs before, but now after being home for SO long I'm a little more nervous and worry about choices. I mean life can't just stop. Anyone second guessing themselves atm?

There has been 0 cases to date in our town and 1 case in the entire area, who wasn't even in the area they were visiting somewhere else at the time. So its been life as normal and nothing has changed at all. I think 2 people were fined in total even though everyone was breaking rules because they are idiots anyway and known to the police and they don't like them 🤷‍♀️. So no. I have no anxiety what so ever about sending my kids to sleepovers and play dates

Im in WA, so we have been back to normal life pretty much for a while now. But i think i know what you mean about second guessing yourself after living the iso life.
Im finding we are still doing a lot less then we did before, we have become used to staying at home and making sure we are comfortable here. I was desperate for the Playgrounds to come back, but we havnt even been to one since they opened again, feeling a bit guilty actually!

Yes I am going through the same thing. I am terrified to let my children go out but I also know that life can’t remain like this. I know I have to let go a little because I have a 20 year old daughter and her boyfriend is in the Military and he is home right now for only 2 weeks and then gone again for about a month. So obviously I let her see him and they hung out with their mutual friends. Then I have a 15 year old son and he is a beach badge checker on the island ( we are in Jersey and live 10 minutes from the ocean ). He begins work in less then a week! Lastly I have a 12 yr old daughter that is going crazy because she knows all her friends are aloud to hang out together. Know my 15 and 12 year old haven’t left the house other then to go on a car ride since the Covid-19 begain. So for like 3 months!!! My son has asthma and I have MS so that makes it even scarier. Meanwhile I know I can’t keep them in what feels like jail! So I am completely with you!

Well, Im in SA so we hadnt had a case for 50 days until today. So I felt safe. I was still being extra careful with hand washign etc but Im normally careful anuyway. When they open the borders with VIC and NSW I will probably start being a bit more careful like avoiding shopping centres as much as possible. Im actually getting everything I need done now like dentist hair dresser etc in case we get a second wave.
