No not at all. Maybe that's because we're mature adults & we're generally on the same page. You need to Google how to argue effectively.

I try and talk and if hubby doesn't like what I'm saying then he will either dismiss me and walk away in the middle of me talking or go straight to yelling at me, telling me im a fucking retard and to fuck off. He always swears, yells and tries to convince me im dumb. Either way then he doesn't talk to me then for the rest of the day. Or longer. And it could be the most trivial thing I'm trying to talk about. Through counselling (mine, he wont go) I've learned he does this when he feels any sense of shame

We used to argue like 12 year Olds. Me throwing things and him hitting walls but after counseling we now just sit and calmly discuss things
