Such an awful thing to say. I don’t know about fertility so I cannot comment on that however my experience was uncontrollable anger, fog brain and after I got off it was on a current affair about dangers to kidney and blindness. Maybe it has been improved if the doctor recommended it.

^you seem new to this site. There is an asshole who goes from post to post with smartass comments like telling people their lives suck, their husband is cheating or a rapist, your kids are stupid, your daughter is a slut or to go kill yourself. The troll gets reported and deleted before anyone really reads it's comments but hey, if this is the only social life it has then kudos to it. Still wouldn't defend it though

Polycystic ovaries and erratic heavy painful periods. The pill helped regulate the periods and calm the cramping.

She was 15 and I don’t remember the name of it but the gynaecologist said it was specific for polycystic cases.

My daughter was on the pill aged 13 for a very short time. We were travelling overseas and her period was due twice in that time. Due the day before we flew out and then the last week of holiday. She was too young to use tampons ( her decision ) and was worried about having to change pads on planes and missing out on all the water parks on our last week. She used the pill to skip her period.
She is now 19 and on the pill again because she’s taking oratane ( acne meds that require you take the pill).

When I was 14 I took Ovulen .5.50
It was for heavy periods, cramping, pain etc.
I experienced weight gain and lethargy on it. I'm not sure if it was related but if I had a teenage daughter I'd have the doctor find an alternative pill for her.

I would suggest going to visit your trusted GP with your daughter to discuss options available.
