Look, money is a social concept. It's not ESSENTIAL to living unless you believe it is. Essential things are shit like: oxygen, food, water, shelter.
You're gonna kill yourself over a social construct? Wow.
Honey, suicide is the biggest card you can play. Don't waste it now. Fuck that. Save it for something really heinous. I don't know, maybe you accidentally run over a litter of puppies and some nuns or something. Maybe you accidentally get drunk and sleep with Randy Newman (that guy who writes all the toy story songs). Maybe you decide to protest seal captivity and want to really push the point.
Save that suicide, just in case.
Also, prisons are full of pieces of shit that do way worse things than take money. Think of the worst crime imaginable, did you do that? No. So if people that HAVE done that, continue to live, breathe, and not kill themselves, why is your life so horrible that you don't deserve to live?
Talk to a solicitor or barrister, or a QC if you can afford it and see what options you have. People steal all the time, the difference is the super wealthy hire excellent lawyers to spin it in a more positive way. When rich people steal it's called investing. It's only when poor people do it that it gets labelled a crime and "deserves" prosecution.
