Yes, my Dad kept it a secret (later admitted that it was so hard to keep quiet as he was so excited). My hubby proposed a week after.

Yup. He was so drunk at the time that my dad didn't think ha'd remember it, and we had only been officially dating 2 months 😂. He was pretty keen apparently lol. Closer to a year of dating before he actually asked me.
