Anyone know when nail salons and waxing will reopen in Queensland? Can’t find anything anywhere

I’ll take it that no one knows the Answer to my question then? Also does anyone know if massage should still be open as we have a dodgy Asian one down the road where loads of people were coming and going yesterday.

i think they did lift some restrictions on massage. Not sure if it’s all massage though I would have to do some googling.

How can anyone possibly know? The situation is fluid, things are changing and can change rapidly.

Maybe someone had seen a notification I had missed or a sign online etc? As I can’t find anything. It is just a question.

There are no set timelines. Any official comments are always 'maybe'. It'll depend on what happens with infections as rules are relaxed. Beauticians will be among the last to open because you can't physically distance from a client.

It might be up to the workers too- even when hairdressers could stay open mine chose not too because he wasn’t happy with the risks. And it might be a slow process- if they had to stand down staff they have to rehire them, they may not have supplies etc.
