Can you get a bank cheque from a bank if u don’t have an account with them???

Yes, you just pay a fee. Last time I did the fee was 10-15$. It might be more now.

You pay that fee even when you do have an account with them. Not sure how it would work if you didn't have an account with the bank - they debit youyour account for the chq...... even if you took the money to them for the chq, youd still have to deposit the cash or transfer the $$$ somewhere

Its simple. You pass them $ across the counter and they pass you back a cheque. Not exactly rocket science.
