My hubby lets people walk all over him
We will live in a cul de sac and complains about the neighbours to me and won’t do anything about it

Some people are definitely gutless. Just like the trolls on this site. They only say the shit they do because they're hiding behind anonymity. As for your hubby maybe he just doesn't like confrontation but he either needs to say something or stop bitching

Him complaining about the neighbours is doing something about it- he's venting. I complain about things to my husband, I don't need them to be fixed, I just want to have a whinge about it.

Ah what do you want him to do exactly go & get into a physical fight with the neighbours would that make you feel better?

Exactly, then he could end up charged, possible lose his job and end up in a worse position then if he had just of kept quiet and vented his frustration to you. There are official channels you take if you need to and the situation warrants it.

Having a partner you can confide in and unburden yourself to when things annoy you, is much smarter than barging over and making enemies of your neighbors. That’s not gutless, that’s smart. You don’t sound very loving or supportive.
