Are banks still leanding money for home loans?? Is it stricter now???

I had a meeting with my bank a few weeks ago, they are still lending at a very low rate but deposit amounts have been raised and proof of genuine savings need to be shown as will as proof of income

Yes it's more difficult to get a loan now due to the most recent royal commission and yes of course you have to prove your income to refinance.

We are on the middle of a refinance at the moment. Had to prove income. Provide bank account statements and have letters from our employers. It's wasn't too bad but we have a loan we can set I've very easily. It was a quick and simple process
