Karen

Omg, is anyone else sick of seeing 'Karen' used in a negative way? We seem to have moved on from 'boomer' and now the ultimate insult is 'Karen'. Even the media are jumping on the bandwagon and using the term. And no, my name isn't Karen (I actually don't even no anyone named Karen🤣) I am just sick of seeing it splashed all over the media and social media!

People who call other people Karen, probably think they're being funny and unique. It's far from both

They’re the same people who still go on about Bunnings onions. And always blaming the ( non existent ) cyclist. Not funny.

It's because they have nothing intelligent to say. The only so called insult they can muster up is to call someone Karen.

imagine the drama if it was latisha or loquanda 😂

 Omg yessssssss

Half of the users probably don't even know the meaning behind it. Idiots

It’s a slur against white people amd a bit racist actually. Sick of seeing it too ... not so much the name calling of Karen but the double standard in society.

I'm sick of it too but I'm also sick of people calling everything racist. Is it really necessary to worm it into every damned conversation?

 its sexist

 It’s neither racist or sexist.

They'll grow out of it soon enough. Either that or a new word will become the flavour of the month

Ahhh, I hate to think what the next fad insult will be🤦‍♀️

It shouldnt be ‘Karen’ it should be ‘Lee-Anne’, i think we all know Lee-Anne is the annoying white woman pissing us all off.

I have a sister Lea-anne so this sounds about right 🤣🤣

It is unfair too real Karens, if that was my name I would develop a sense of humor to defend myself but really it isn’t nice

I knew a karen she was really high maintenance. I used to love seeing the can I speak to the manager memes cause it was true.

The name fits perfectly. Karens have a huge chip on their shoulder.

^ Because you know hundreds of Karens right? Maybe you read it on the internet. In that case it must be true right?

Karen is a pejorative term used in the US and other English-speaking countries for a woman perceived to be entitled or demanding beyond the scope of what is considered appropriate or necessary. A common stereotype is that of a racist white woman who uses her privilege to demand her own way at the expense of others.

I've met and known many people named Karen, and only ONE has been nice. And tbf she can be quite high maintenance at times. But she's got a heart of pure gold.
Every other Karen has been a complete bitch. Holier than thou, entitled, rude, and down right mean.
So, I take every opportunity to remind the one nice Karen, that she's lovely. But I LOVE the Karen memes. Honestly, I'd think Linda/Lynn/Lynette would be a great contender too. F**k the Lins.

Its usually men saying it to women as well and often they are the entitled type of man who complains!!!!

Men can be bigger bi****s sometimes 🤣

I know a Karen who is the perfect example of a Karen. She is the rudest, most entitled, hypocritical so and so you will ever meet. Hate her.

I know plenty of people like that...and none of them are called Karen 🙄

 Do you call her Karen?
