You can’t get radiation positioning or exposure in your food from using a microwave as microwaves do not use x-rays or gamma rays, and they do not make food radioactive. Microwave ovens can cook food, but they do not otherwise change the chemical or molecular structure of it.

Great. I’m only just finding out now that heating up my food in the microwave won’t give me superpowers. My whole life has been a lie.

I do. I use microwave for baby bottles, formula, breast milk, everything that needs heating.

 You are destroying nutrients

Warming breast milk. You can feed expressed milk straight from the fridge if your baby is happy to drink it cold. Or you can warm the milk to body temperature by putting the bottle in a jug of warm water or holding it under running warm water.

How to warm your stored breast milk

Healthy, full-term babies can drink breast milk at room temperature or warmed to body temperature. Some have a preference, others don’t seem to mind.

To warm your milk, place the breast milk bottle or bag into a cup, jug or bowl of lukewarm water for a few minutes to bring it to body temperature (37 °C or 99 °F). Alternatively, use a bottle warmer. Do not allow the temperature to go above 40 °C (104 °F), and do not use a microwave, as this can overheat your milk.
Gently swirl the bottle or bag, without shaking or stirring, to mix any separated fat

Yea please don’t microwave baby bottles - formula or breastmilk. You are risking burning your babies mouth because the microwave doesn’t eventually heat the milk.

Yes. Microwaves do not leave radiation traces in your food. This has been proven time and time again. Cooking veggies in microwaves also has been proven to lock in the nutrients more then any other cooking method.

Only if the food is cold and it needs to be hot..

 Radiation
Use stove if you can

If you want to preach about not using a microwave at least be right! Microwaves do not use x-rays or gamma rays, and they do not make food radioactive. Microwave ovens can cook food, but they do not otherwise change the chemical or molecular structure of it.

Milk that's "baby-ready" should feel lukewarm. Heating breast milk or infant formula in the microwave is not recommended. Studies have shown that microwaves heat baby's milk and food unevenly. This results in "hot spots" that can scald a baby's mouth and throat.

That’s why you shake and stir.

They recommend you don't use microwaves to heat baby bottles because some people don't shake or stir and burn their babies month. The recommendations need to be idiot proof or I guess to be fair, sleep deprived parent proof. If you have common sense then a microwave is safe
