My partners kids are so spoilt. It's the other parent that spoils them because I think she believes success is shown through money etc.

I've been trying to show them with time and attention but I have to do this gently and slowly as i dont want to annoy them. Does it get better? They turn their nose up to my dinners, home etc and I'm beginning to feel resentful and I hate that because I'm the adult.

My husband's daughter is spoilt. If mum won't give her what she wants, she packs up and stays here until dad won't give her what she wants. She treats my daughter and I like shit.
I always ignored the carry on, if she refused to eat dinner and got take away that's ok. I keep doing my best and always being there for when she needs me. It's not her fault. Show them with your actions that you care. If they won't eat dinner don't stress, don't argue or make them something else, but keep making their dinner.
It doesn't get easier, if they are making your life hell I suggest leaving.
