Absolutely. Were trying for #3 and I don't want Centrelink. They are a pain in the ass.

This is my post. And applu, I'm not too sure what that means? Not all of us need Centrelink. I am fortunate enough to earn good money and so does my husband. we use savings like our 2 previous children.

Family tax benefit is such a tiny amount, no one actually plans kids around that, puhleeeessse!

If you can't support your family without centrelink/ social security, then you shouldn't have children. It's basic really.

Unfortunately sometimes our best laid plans fall apart. Things happen that we can never predict but apart from that, I agree. You would want to hope No one actually plans a pregnancy relying on centrelink payments.

Even if you can afford it, if you're entitled to it, why not claim it to benefit your children anyway?

I have a full time job, so yep I would.

I've had so many problems, misinformation & fuck ups by their staff I'd avoid a 3rd baby so I didn't have to deal with them.

Your question is very specific. Why more than 2 kids? Why not any kids at all?

ANSWER

Absolutely. I don't really see what the meagre amount of tax support has to do with raising and loving children. It is in no way an incentive to receive tax support (for my future tax payers).
