New partner moving in with you

He’s been evicted from his unit cause new owners moving in and my new partner of 5 weeks has nowhere to go
Should I let him move in with me and charge him rent until he finds new place to rent ?

Unless you have been friends for a long time and already know each other, 5 weeks is way too early. He would have been given enough notice to move that he can find another property to rent and if not he can use the right channels to fight it and be given compensation.

NO!! He must have other friends he can rely on plus he would have been given a notice to vacate (usually 2 months I think?) so he’ll have plenty of time to find a new place to live - just not your place!
