Do you think my ex should have asked me if he wants to introduce different food or experiences ?

Can you be more specific? My husband takes his kids out to try different things all the time. They try different activities, restaurants it wouldn't occur to him to ask their mum.

Now that is assuming they aren’t forcing them into a weird cult or telling a small child that paleo is the only answer. Use your common sense!

No. He’s just as much their parent as you. Would you check with him before offering them something. If not, then why would he need to? Undermining his judgment as a parent.

Depends what it is. Normal food if exotic foods or food he knows you wouldnt agree with then yes he should discuss it if the child is sensative to foods or textures. Example would be brains, heart etc. Extra spicy food or something very unusual should be discussed.
