Thanks to those of you in Victoria, doing the right thing.

Answered 4 years ago

It can't be easy. Here in WA we've been lucky lately but before it was really hard.
So thanks people in Vic, I really feel for you all and what you are sacrificing.
Try to make the best of it and enjoy time with your children.
It's not forever, hang in there, and chin up 💚

I kind of like it, kids are teens online schooling. My husband and I work from home. I do online fitness. I have online catch ups with friends. Am looking forward to the warmer months I have saved money and annual leave so we might be able to travel interstate.

I do. I'm in QLD and every day I think how hard it must be for those doing the right thing & watch the daily tally, willing it to go down!!

The general feeling from those around me is the same. We really do appreciate it.

We're also very angry at those refusing to cooperate and especially those lying to get across the QLD border or avoid quarantine from both NSW & Vic. Unfortunately it means we're having to cut off everyone from Saturday.

Not true,I could be like every other idiot and c ontinue to live life like it was pre covid. Many are doing that but many of us are putting our and others wellbeing first. So 5 months at home at doing the right thing has come at great cost as i worked hard to get out of being home all the time due to anxiety. Guess what im back at square one. So when this is over i have a big battle again. Choice before hand yes I had a choice I still do i could just ignore the rules. I choose not to.

It's sht lol the rules are so unclear that my husband's work still doesn't know if they can stay open or have to lay off 75% of workers as they're only allowed 25% of the usual workers. So another sleepless night. Have to find out tomorrow, tomorrow's the last day of business as usual.
It's so stressful over here 😔 we shouldve stayed living in qld lol

They decided on 3 days work a week for the next 6 weeks. Normally work 6 days a week so it's a big cut to us but we'll get there eventually 🤞

I know, I'm terrified. But they are sacrificing so much to help everyone. When this stuff is over we can hopefully remember and implement mateship once again in our beautiful country.

It's terrible :( right in the thick of it. Were glad hubby can't lose his job (emergency service) because I lost mine due to it. It's hard on my kids. They just want to go and see their Nanna and poppy it's so hard for them, they don't understand. Lots of face time :)
