How much do you put away into savings per month (out of total household income)?

Might sound very crazy but between the two of us on average we’re putting away 4k every month. Some months are more but not over 5k.

None, we have a mortgage. Would be stupid to make savings when that money can go onto the mortgage and save us more in the end than ‘savings’.

Same here, we keep a bit of buffer in our everyday account incase of say the washing machine breaking and needing a new one etc. But we don't have 'savings' we pay double on our mortgage instead.
