I guess it's not my problem that people might feel bad they didn't make peace with me before I died.
But then if I'm dying and adequately drugged up I might not even notice they are visiting

I would be dying and not around anymore. They would be the ones who had to live with not making the time or being assholes. If it made them feel even slightly less guilty they can visit me on my deathbed.

I wouldn’t care. If I was about to die, I would hope the last thing I did would be to forgive anyones wrongs against me before I go.

Glutton for punishment would be living with them even when you hate them. If I was on my Deathbed - I would be more than happy to say goodbye 👋
