We built our house 2 years ago
Mortgage $420k
Deposit $20k
Weekly minimum repayments $380

We pay $890 a week though

Because our deposit was pitiful we paid lenders insurance of around 15k.

$200k deposit
$310k mortgage ($280 left)

$350 a week.

Thanks. This is helpful. I'm paying $360 /wk in rent, so that tells me I could pay maybe a $330 to $340ik mortgage.

This is a 30year mortgage

We often pay $400 a week for it to knock it out faster
