Yes-ish. The dog rescue we got our dog from show their animals online and if you are interested they bring him/her over for a meet and greet. She is my baby, after 4 years I feel so lucky and so in love with her.

I found my dog online but did collect her in person 2 hours drive away. She was sold by a vet that was a breeder. That was 13 years ago and she is my bff. I did however come across a scam or two while looking for her. (Person saying pay me money and the dog will be there tomorrow.) Luckily I knew not to pay any money online before I had the dog. My dog is towards the end of her life as she has congestive heart failure. I am devistated to lose her but I will probably find my next dog online too.

I went to the pound and got a pure bred maltese for $100! And he is perfect!

Someone was giving away their dog on a local Facebook page and 7 years later she is still with us.

Many of the pure bred puppies for sale posts are scams though so be careful.
