Mental illness yes. My husband suffers PTSD after 2 deployments. Mainly the Afghan one, the shit he had to go through there for 10 months I wouldn't wish upon my worst enemy. Every day I'm scared he will kill himself, alot of his friends have because they can't cope anymore. It's terrifying. Yes he is getting help and has for the last 8 years. Can't help you cos I'm running blind xxx

I am the one with chronic illness, adenomyosis which means each month, around that time but often on days between ovulation and period,I am in so much pain I go from bed to shower to couch, unfortunately my husband does everything during this time, from heat my heatpacks to cook dinner to holding my hand when I can’t take the pain anymore.
The only glimmer of hope is that once we have just one pregnancy resulting in either 1 or 2 babies ( we are trying with ivf currently) i am getting a hysterectomy so we both can have quality of life back.
You are not alone and you are doing an amazing job caring for your sick partner
