After all of the craziness on Facebook yesterday, I thought it would be good to see what people actually use Facebook for. Do you use it for news?

FB was my main source of the news. Not really worth scrolling through cat videos, silly memes and anti everything anymore

No. I'm not on FB enough to rely on it for news.
FB has really stuffed itself, tho. There's so many ways to access news we just go elsewhere.

I look at opinion sites sometimes but not news. I use FB for entertainment and connecting with friends

I follow opinion sites, More So than news as I don't trust the mainstream media news these days

i have a tv hogging hubby so i never get to watch the news on tv at night...i relied on which ever news pages i followed on fb to keep me updated. Its not the sole reason i use FB of course but it was definately one of the reasons

I may see a headline, but will check other sources before believing pretty much anything on fb as it’s mostly sensationalised or false.

Yes. I follow the news pages. Now I get my news from the quick headlines on the radio at 3. I’m not going out of my way to be depressed

No but I do follow some news sites. FB isn’t my go-to news source though.
