Has anyone tried intermittent fasting? How did you find it?

I'm looking to give it a go, but am not sure when to start. I don't really eat breakfast normally, but I love a latte in the morning so couldn't give that up!

Fast for 16 hours and only eat in an 8 hour window each day

My friends have had massive success on it. I tried it and lost about 2kg then nothing, the diets its self was great the first week was hard but once I got used to it no issue at all just didnt lose any weight.
My husband started and he has trimmed down a heap as well

I do 16:8 and found it sorted out a lot of gut issues I was having and made it easy to maintain my weight

Not yet but I'm thinking about it. Were you thinking 5:2 days, or more like 8:16 hours every day? I'm thinking the daily one first, basically so I don't snack at night lol.

Definitely give it a try! I lost 10kgs in almost 3 weeks, I did intermittent fasting and going for 30 min walks everyday and following with a diet. My diet wasn’t even harsh just shake for breakfast, 100grams tuna or chicken and salad and 100grams salmon with heaps of green veggies and sweet potato for dinner. Remember to drink 2+ litres a day too 🙂

Sorry, just checking. Which version did you do? The one where you eat normally some days and low cal others? Do you do 5 days of normal eating and 2 of low cal? Do you think it’s maintainable long term? It seems pretty reasonable to me. Congrats with goth weight loss! That’s amazing!!!
