A car jack woohoo. Practical as I didn’t have one but not exactly ‘just what I always wanted’.

Every Christmas or birthday is a surprise. Roses, chocolates, jewelry and anything else I've had my eye on but can't justify spending the money on myself instead of the kids. We went for our first holiday together and I woke up in the hotel to him not there and about an hr later he returned with a fishing rod and tackle box because I'd complained the night before that I couldn't go fishing because my ex had made me get rid of all my camping/outdoor stuff. He's very sweet and romantic but refuses to let me tell him he is lol

He got the first ring he gave to me (years ago) repaired (missing stones). The repairs would have cost more than the ring, but it's probably the most thoughtful gift he's ever given me.
