Child support question - child working

Answered 4 years ago

I’ve already spent 30 mins on hold to CSA today so I’m hoping this is an answer someone will know or have experience in.
Do I have to tell CSA that my 15yr old has an after school job?
I didn’t even think to notify them but my ex husband has questioned if I’ve told CSA.
My son saves 99% of his pay and I still pay everything for him. Not one cent of his money comes to me or the household.

My daughter worked part-time and I did ring up to let them know and they said that I didn't have to and that she didn't have to claim it either. It was only weekend work and she kept it all. As far as I know it is still the same. Different if your 15 year old left school for a full-time job. Then you would have to. But check, to make sure as it might have changed. Though I doubt it. Your child wouldn't be earning enough to make any difference.
