We go for family walks / bike rides and I take the kids shopping with me seeing they're too little you stay home by themselves

My kid and I went out for driveway drinks with the elderly neighbours. But I live on a busy road and we couldn’t hear each other shouting across the road, so I went to their house. I did sit apart from them tho.

We have been following the rules. My 2 teenage children and myself have barely left the house in 6 weeks. I think that I have been grocery shopping maybe 3 times and we have gone on a few family walks around our neighbourhood. We are taking it seriously and hoping that every one else does too, in the hope that if everyone does the right thing we can get back to living our lives quicker.

Yes. Several times (yes I know I'm an asshole).
-I'll take the kids out for a walk (✔)
-I'll keep them close and away from others (✔)
-We'll walk past a supermarket/department store (kmart, big w, target) and I'll think about whether I NEED anything from there (✔)
-Then go in anyway and wander around aimlessly, impulse buying (❌)

However, I also do nice shit on my walks. Like I spray down the traffic light buttons with Glen20, and any other handles I come across.
I also carry a packet of freezer bags with me and pick up dog poop as I go (despite not owning a dog).
I also return stray trolleys, and lately I've been spraying their handles and corners.

So, yes I'm an asshole who breaks the rules, but I also try to level that karma out in other areas.

We went to the playground on the first day of restrictions, but we haven't been since.
