I would have to be very close to the people if I wasn't then no. Most people who have destination wedding are trying to cut the dead wood anyway. They probably just invited you to be polite.

I've been to several interstate and 1 international wedding where i couldn't take kids. Im lucky to have my parents and inlaws close by who can have them.

For me it depends on, how old the children are. Do we have family to watch them. How far away is the wedding. Do we like the people enough? Hubby and I are flying interstate for a wedding without our children soon. Our best friends happen to live in another state. So for us, it's worth it.

If my children were old enough and I could find reliable babysitters, yes I would.
