I just wanted to check - is it right that the lentils are added to this uncooked? Is there enough liquid in the recipe to soften them as the lasagne bakes? Thanks

It's entirely up to your personal preference. You don't need to as there will be enough liquid, but if you want to cook/soak them first you can.
