You see it coming. Your lives don't really fit together anymore. What do you do?

It’s sad but move on, your friends are a reflection of your life in a point in time. I am Facebook friends with people from my school days but we have absolutely nothing in common anymore. If it is meant to stick it will. It will be effortless

I don't see the point of staying facebook Facebook friends with people your not close to. They're just lurkers, wanting gossip, cut them loose.

I live in a different state to them, sometimes I go back to visit my parents and catch up with one or two to reminisce or because we still like each other. We are just not close to be part of each other’s every day lives and life is busy. It doesn’t mean I don’t care enough to say hello.

The best advice that a friend gave me about friendships was, ‘you have friends for a reason, a season and for life.’ Not every person that you become friends with, will be for life, maybe you just needed each other‘s support at the time.

Yep. Like everyone that was so sad when I moved state but made no effort to stay in touch. I got sick of making all the effort so stopped, and surprise, haven't heard from them since.

Yep, just let it die. Life brings about changes that will end current friendships & bring about new ones. There is no point keeping a friendship that has no real connections anymore.
