Look, most people want the cheaper product, even high income earners. I make over $3000k/ week and still go for the cheaper option. Can you sell cheaper than Love Honey?

I've had a look at what I want to sell against what the big players sell. Like I said before, this won't be my primary income, if I can source wholesale products at a reasonable price I think I can be cheaper than Love Honey. I can't have a huge range....but I feel a few items of what's trending would be a good start

Possibly, but we all shop by our wallets, and this is a side hustle, I don't need the huge mark-up, sure they have more buying power....

Online selling can be very lucrative so why not? Have you run a business before? Do you have much capital in invest initially?
When you buy from a wholesale supplier you will need to buy a lot and you will need somewhere to store it all. You need to find out if you need insurance and you need to price advertising. Once you know how much everything is going to cost you need to work out how much to charge to compete with what is already available. Advertising on Google is bloody expensive, but if you don't have it you won't get a lot of sales. Sex toys are tricky because your friends probably won't share posts, and it will be difficult to get your name out there. But all the big businesses started out as an idea so you should look into it.

Thanks, I have a couple of ideas on how to start and get my name out there. I don't want or need to go huge as it will only be me to begin with and it's only to supplement my current employment until I retire....maybe then I'll take it a bit more serious

I might be naive but I really only would be doing it part-time, I'm sure me being flippant about the whole thing may annoy people, I have had a business before, but nothing like this. The one thing I know from my last business is knowing when to stop throwing money at something that no longer is viable. I have just started my research phase of this business and I will hopefully be up and running by June 2021.

What i suggested would probably only be part time. There is already so much available sex toy wise. I would look and try to find a gap in the market selling something else.

Sex sells! I say go for it. Find a good supplier, create your own website, start an instagram business page. Tell your friends to tell their friends. All the best

Thanks, I don't intend on letting my mum know.
But thanks for your input, this is just something to do as I begin to finish up working and head into retirement

Have a look at a potential supplier, get prices then compare it to what others are selling.

Market saturation will be an issue. Lots of companies selling toys with massive social media presence already. Unless you sell it like Tupperware you will find it hard to crack the market
