I am 42. I lost my mother 6 years ago and my father passed away 18 months before that. So no family left.

Yes, when I was 35, my mum passed suddenly aged 59 (the following year my husband thought it would be a good time to have a 6 month affair) then my Dad died a couple years later, followed by 3 years of drought. Life has been a struggle the last 10 years.

I miss my parents greatly & my kids are my sunshine.

My dad died ten years ago. My mum is still kicking on but is lonely and depressed. To be honest I’m surprised the heartache hasn’t killed her.
