Answered 1 year ago

After teying and trying for years to lose weight and losing and gaining due to meds and pcos I am looking into surgery. I dont eat a lot I honestly dont but my metabolism is so stuffed.

Is surgery a good option? Has anyone gone down that path to help?

Definitely talk to your doctor. Sounds like you might be a good candidate for surgery if you’ve try thing else.

OP here thanks. I can only eat a bread and butter size plate off food all day anyway. So i have one meal because if i have more i end up suddenly throwing up. Like I had 2 coffee all day plus lettuce tomato cucumber 1/2 cup worth with a patty smaller than palm size. And one tbsp of pasta salad. Thats it today. About 10 minutes ago i was throwing up. Not making myself do it it just happens. I think ill speak to my gp tomorrow.

I think you should see a dietician/ nutritionist and a reputable GP.
If they are the cause of your heavy weight then shrinking your stomach won't help. If food isn't the problem then surgery won't fix it.
A metabolism is never 'stuffed', it just needs encouragement.
