Does anyone else use coles long life full cream milk?

We've used to for years because of cost saving & never had a problem. We brought 6 liters (6 cartons) for last week shop. I give it a sniff just to check it's ok & it smells bad, not off but it smells different & not in a good way. Every single one we open. We're throwing them all out & just going to go with a different brand but has anyone else notice anything. They're not a part of the recent recall either.

We've been using it for years, never the 1L though, always 2 or 3. I haven't had any problems so far

Why not buy fresh milk? Its just $1.10 per litre.... I think there is a place for the long life stuff (i always have a carton or two ‘in case’) but i wouldnt use it in place of fresh milk.

Long life is all I buy, I live rural and our shop is small and with limited opening hours. I do my shopping in a bigger town once a month and buy a months worth of milk in one go.

I also only use long life. We go to the shops a couple times a week, but its just easier for us to use long life. It's still just milk.

I use LL milk too. My kids go through phases of drinking lots of milk, but lately the fresh milk has been going off as they haven't been drinking much.
If I use LL every so often they complain as they aren't use to it. But if I use it all the time, they don't notice.

You could be alerting them of a batch of contaminated milk or milk that is off. I highly doubt you randomly picked the only 6 cartons affected.

If you are too lazy to take it back to the shop and let them know there could be an issue with their stock dont get online bagging a company out

I got my husband some to take in his truck (linehaul) so it doesn’t go off and it’s putrid! Plus all the chemicals and everything. I won’t ever buy it again

UHT stands for ultra heat treated. It doesn't have any added chemicals.
