Id hate to be in lockdown without my kids
Dont get me wrong.. they drive me nuts at times and i cant get a break
But still think lockdown would be boring after a week of no kids

In Victoria here but love having my teenagers home we are all going to be sad when this ends and their school is brand new and one street away. They tell me they don’t want to go back in person.:(

I have been stuck at home for 8 weeks teaching 2 primary schoolers with dyslexia who fight a lot, and a toddler who gets into everything, meanwhile Im studying too. So yes Ill be glad my older 2 are going back to school next week! We are in SA so theres only been 1 new case in the last 12 days.

My kids went back to school but I want them back! I loved having them at home. They are 12 and 15. I really enjoyed the family time. Back at school for a week and my days are lonely and quiet until the kids come home and the noise and arguing starts up. We were so much happier when there was no school.

If your kids are driving you nuts, you’re one of the lucky ones! Hope you get through this time.

I don't envy anyone.
Kids is a personal choice. I personally made the choice to have them. My brother does not want them and makes comparisons all the time about if i didn't have children i could do this or that like he does.
No regrets about having them, even when I'm frustrated at them or say things out of anger! They are the most valuable thing in my life, they mean more than any material possession, money or other life experience.

My sister doesn't have kids and I do not envy her one little bit so I hope your comment has come out of frustration. Hang in there. You said yourself they're going back to school soon. Things are going to get better. Maybe slowly, but they will 💜
