We do $100 per fortnight each. Used for boys/ girls nights out, video games, pretty things I want haha. Family takeaway/dinners out comes out of our expenses account.

$30 a week on take away. Maybe $100 a month on outings but it depends. I find a lot of free type outings that are of interest to my children so it’s usually just petrol or public transport costs involved.

We have $120 a week go into our splurge account. We use it on whatever we want. Some times I'll get my nails done. Hubby is a brewer so he will use it for certain beers. If we want to go out for dinner etc. We don't use it alot and there's always alot in there. So if it ever gets to $1,000 we then move that into our save account.

I usually budget about $60 a week but I'm a single mother of 1 that lives on a farm so not a great deal to spend money on, fun wise. Usually spend it on a toy or new DVD or my daughter when we do our weekly shop then tuckshop or something as a treat. When we do travel into town, we can watch a movie or go bowling - cheaper activities. If i manage to find a sitter, I'll shout myself a few beers at our local (just to get off the farm and spend some time with adults)
