What new year? We had dramas before and after Xmas then we were preparing our house for possible fires, oh wait we still are!

Haven't even had daylight today just a horrible glow.. hubs is meant to be back at work tomorrow and I don't know if I will be able to go back cause I'm too scared to leave the kids. So add not being able to even cover rent/groceries to our shitty new year!

We have not been impacted by fires yet, so many people have been devastated. My dad has lost everything his ever worked for. So I know we are lucky, but it has been a very very hard few weeks for us.

Much love to anyone who has had to go through this 💜💜 especially those who have faced loss.
Will be spending the next few days trying to help the community as much as we can, I have no money to donate but I have time and skills to lend, halving our wardrobes to donate, hopefully that might make a difference to somebody!

Sorry you’ve gone through this. Bless you for helping others out. We aren’t anywhere near the fires or communities affected but would be there helping if we could. Will be donating. It’s a sad situation for a lot of people 💗🙏

My work roster did not change at all during the festive season, so other than it being school holidays and having Teenage children at home during the day, there was no real difference for me

No. I'm still helping out friends with childcare and although I want to help them its meaning I cant get on top of housework and I'm missing out on study time.

Not at all. We're off to Europe for a month next week. It'll probably take us another month to get over that 😊

^Europe is actually a continent. It consists of more than 40 countries and england/UK/great Britain is a part it. That probably explains it being an extended trip. Did you do geography at the little country school you went to? Best of luck furthering your education dear xx
