Can anyone tell me if you lose the single parenting payment which your child turns 8 years old? Thanks

Please be aware, Newstart is less than the SPP. It could be a difference of about $200 a fortnight less than your current pension payment.

You get moved onto Newstart I believe. It’s roughly the same amount but a different payment name.

Yes think it's changed to newstart and you have to be meeting an activity or looking for work requirement
