What to do ?

Answered 2 months ago

My wife has been trying to turn me away for some time, maybe 2 years ? I love her very much and say so but she has said she does not love me. W are planning a trip away at Christmas time and I think I’ll not go if I cannot get her to want to say that she loves me. It’s a trying time but I cannot see why I would go with her when there is only one of us that’s in love ! Is this right to not go ? Or should I just go ?

Absolutely don’t go! Why do things for people who outright and openly disrespect and treat you this way. Life is short find someone who makes you happy

Why has she said she dies not love you? On what basis? Is it something you have done?

-Are you helping with household chores?
-Are you helping with the kids?
-Are you working / providing?
-Are you looking after yourself / exercise / fitness?
-Do you have interests / hobbies outside of your wife?

I help around the house
I try to keep fit ish
I work hard and provide
I do not have a girlfriend
My interests are football and work nothing else
It’s been a couple of years at least since she lost interest in me snd I’ve been trying but just get nowhere and everything I do is just not good enough or worthwhile for her
It all is about her and nothing about me no matter what I do it is just not good enough anymore
Well that’s about it ?!

Is it likely to be a romantic holiday just the two of you? Might be an opportunity to reconnect or at the very least give her one last chance? Or at the very least hash out a separation plan is a neutral setting?
