Do you think it is safe to send your kids to daycare during a pandemic?

How do you think staff would practice social distancing with birth to 5yr olds? Are you worried now that there are more cases of children with covid19?

No. I get some people have no choice though.

I'm trying to let DD finish the kindy term next week as there's not many cases here but it's a struggle to drop her off. She looks so vulnerable!

The problem is you have to pay but govt says keep them home. I know people who are home all day but will send their kids anyway because they've got to pay or because they're allowed to, unlike schools from next week. One DF is estatic about it even though her other child is home from school. It makes me sad.

You know that they are allowing extra absences for this financial year and next? Almost double, I think. Ask your service about it. If they don’t know, they should!
