Mri question

Answered 4 years ago

I know you are not doctors and I am NOT asking for medical advise.

I have an appointment booked in for a few weeks ..
but was wondering if anyone has had a brain mri where they have specifically taken measurments of something?

Thickness and length focussing on two areas as well as the brain as a whole.

I am worried. So looking for someone in similar situation or experience.

Obviously again i know i have to see my specialist I have a few week wait though, but in the mean time any ideas?

Surely if it was bad they woukd have called me by now being two days later?

Or tell me im worried for nothing?!

It's okay matey. I've had one but it was last minute emergency scenario.
They're being hyper cautious- in case you need emergency surgery straight after. They need to know everything about your body, even the size of your mouth should you require suction or a ventilator.
Ask them or just chill. You're in great hands!!

Thanks so much as said above two areas of concern but I am sure it will be okay. I didnt find out about precancerous cells until two weeks later so i hold hope its nothing. Thanks again for calming my nerves. I finally got some sleep so feel much better. Thanks

Thank you its not the actual brain itself they have taken measurments of but obviousky something they have found. I had a look at the films last night and its two little blobs they have measured. Hopefully its nothing. I have already had precancerous cells removed from another body part. Thanks again
