In the meantime, definitely just ‘play’ - there’s a lot to learn purely via everyday activities - blocks, puzzles, sandpit, make your own play dough (math concepts through measuring), treasure hunts (find three feathers or find 3 green leaves in the backyard), puddle jumping, cooking, reading, listening to audio books, singing, dancing, measuring with rulers and tape measures, growing some veggies, composting/worm farm, dramatic play space or dress ups, duplicating/LEGO, card games, board games...plus the ABC has plenty of free to air shows to support her!

I'm the same, but am keeping my DD out for now, but will send her back when it's safe. She's at a daycare so if she can't go back all term I'll increase her attendance for the last two terms. I'm hoping May but her health comes first.

She's doing cooking with me where she does as much as possible, measures ingredients etc. Colouring in for motor skills, counting, problem solving, creative craft (somehow I promised paper mache tomorrow!), counting, reading, exercise, anything that increases confidence, independence & creativity. There's oodles of activities online.

Play based learning. Nature play.
