That I lost my job and I'm home all day every day with the kids. Hubby still works thankfully. I'm going through a miscarriage and being at home all day every day is very trying on me right now. But trying to remain positive and keep in mind it's to keep us all safe. But I have to say mentally it's taking a toll.

 Sorry for your loss.

I have to keep reminding myself too that I’m playing my part by being at home. Sorry about the miscarriage.

Nothing, really. Maybe just not being able to duck down to the supermarket whenever I want (immunocompromised) - I used to multiple times per week. I'm just happy to not know anyone who has died from this or to have fallen ill myself.

I'm a stay at home mum so people think it's not so bad for me. But I've got my yr 1 boy home, and our 3yr old. We're stuck at home 24/7 and can't even do the little bits of freedom I once had like if I was bored go look around Kmart or whatever just to get out. Being home literally all the time is really getting hard, and depressing to be honest. Not that we don't have heaps of things to do...but it's just hard. Luckily husband still works and doesn't think his workplace will shutdown at all through this, so that's a plus

I understand, I'm a sahm with 2yo and 4yo boys. We used to go somewhere most days just to get out of the house, but it's not an option anymore. Walks are nice but it's not the same.

And now we aren't even allowed to get in the car and just go for a drive, as police have made it clear today that's out now too! It's isolating, literally. I don't have friends or family where we live so it's just getting too much now 😔

I'm desperate for some space and time alone but everyone is here in our tiny house. It feels like the walls are closing in

Can you go for a walk? Send everyone for Quiet time in everyone’s room for half an hour each day? Get drunk!

Can you go for a drive to a local beach and just sit in your car with the windows down? Fresh air and something nice to see. I’m doing that tomorow.

 ^^^ good ideas I will!

If you do this and you are in Victoria, if you take the risk going to the beach, expect to be caught & fined!!!

All states have been told to stay at home unless it's necessary. Everyone risks a $1000 fine

Being stuck all day with my husband, driving me crazy 🤪

I miss libraries and playgrounds, my two go-to activities to get the kids out of the house! We have both walking distance from our house.

I had plans to go see my family back in America. It's been 3 years since Ive seen them and was excited about going back. And now I'm unsure when the next time I'll get to see them again. I'm hoping they will be safe and stay healthy. My parents are older and scares me if something happens because I can't be there.
I have a small unit, sometimes it's hard to get that alone time to recoup. Staying positive, being my son's only playmate etc is sometimes hard. As I just want 5 minutes to calm my mind.

Being stuck at home with a 6mth old and 18mth old and 5 year old twins

Holy shit lady, im not religious, but i will pray for you bahahahahha! Hang in there, all power to you ❤️

I miss playing sport and exercising with my friends.
I miss being out and about and basically doing whatever I like - going to the movies/ beach/markets/ shopping - I feel like I’m in a prison.

Now I actually have to talk to my husband and we have nothing in common.

Not being able to take the kids to the park is the hardest. 3 boys under 5 and some days they’re just so destructive as they need to get out and climb and run. I am thankful we have a large backyard, but we don’t currently have a swing set or anything for them to climb on. We’re working on getting them something, but most places have sold out.

I have a baby so for me its the worry factor. Worrying about what could happen. (there hasnt been heaps of babies getting it but they are at increased risk if they do).. Worrying about my friend who is having chemo, my Dad who has heart disease, my Nan who is in her late 90s. Worry about my DH who has asthma and is in a job with lots of clients so high risk. It sucks.

Not being able to go enjoy our hobbies. My children are very active and enjoy being able to go out, I like being able to be near the water, I miss hiking too. I have really enjoyed being able to connect more with family and friends as we all now have the time for a phone call or message.

 You can still go hiking

Depends on what state you are in. In Victoria this is a big fat NO!!!

So you can't exercise in Victoria?

I’m in Queensland, I just checked and not all national parks are closed but I did think I heard they were. I will stay home still though, the more of us who stay home the shorter time this will go on for.

In in QLD. the facilities like loos, BBQs, tables are closed. SOME walking trails are still open. Not many tho.
