Are you one of the idiots who used credit card for Xmas ?
My friend will pay off Xmas 2018 in May
Interest rate $2160
The bill was $650

I use a credit card for everything. I then pay it off before my statement arrives so I pretty much pay no interest. I use a credit card to collect points which for me is fantastic because we've used them to travel to the USA, new Zealand, Thailand and this year we're going to Spain. I use a credit card to my advantage and it's certainly not the actions of a idiot

Yes. I am one of those suckers.
Except our cards were maxed out before that.
Our circumstances were not good anyway.
Funerals aren't cheap and we racked up over $9000 between us.
So Yes I'm stupid. It happens.

Where do you get these $2000 funerals?
We opted for cheapest options as stated in grandfathers will, and still came to $6,500, and coffin was the cheapest (650) but due to his height they had to customise it to fit him in. Cremation was $2000++
The other funeral place nearby wanted $8500 minimum

The simplest cremation you can get without a service or a casket or anything will cost you $2k

I don’t have a credit card to avoid temptation. I did use Afterpay for a couple of things after realising I left my wallet at home. It’s all paid off now. Only put about $100 on there. I don’t spend more than I have. After seeing family members max out cards and go into debt I just refuse to have one.

I use a credit card but I am NOT an idiot. I only buy what I can afford to pay off at the end of the month. I put every purchase on my credit card, earn lots of points, then pay off my credit card at the end of the month with money from my savings account. Not once in 20 years have I ever paid interest on my credit card. I honestly get so sick of people making stupid rude remarks about people using credit cards. Sure, some people spend more than they can afford, that’s what banks count on. But there are others who use the credit cards wisely.

We ONLY pay CASH for everything. If we don't have the cash we can't afford it. It's that simple
