Do you think it’s ok for trashy magazines to print health advice?

Answered 4 years ago

I recently saw an article on an autoimmune disease that I have and their information was wrong. I emailed them and they claimed they got their facts from a reputable source. I emailed them the link to the correct info and they stood by their claim. I believe they aren’t doctors and shouldn’t be posting info on medical conditions.

Of course not. But most mags, websites, tv news/shows, social media also spout incorrect information. Its pump it out quickly and what makes money.

I ignore it all unless it comes from a real, professional source.

I agree they’re not medical professionals and shouldn’t give advice
