What are some fun and inexpensive things to do with the kids on the school holidays?

After 3 kids and years of the zoo, sci tech, beachs, parks, playdoh, play centres etc etc etc....... Some fun things to do with the kids is sign them up for OSH Club in the holidays, then announce weekends as ipad time.
Anybody else sooooooooo over it?
I mean how many times can you do this stuff without going nuts? I didnt count, but i am nuts lol

Stop making people feel bad for any negative thoughts they have about parenting!
I hate that "be thankful you can have kids crap" it's such a load of rubbish!

Im the OP of this reply and i am soooo greatful i can have kids and i love and adore them. I also love school holidays (i only put them in Osh a few hours a day, not all day).... i am just sick of the f-ing zoo and all those places.... Ive been raising kids for 20 years im allowed to be over it coz i have done it all many, many times.

Even if you have only been doing it a few years, you are allowed to be over it. Who said If someone complains about kids behaviour or boring school holiday activities, kids fighting etc that you aren’t grateful for the kids you have? I’m sick of these comments

Yes we dont allow ipads at all during the week. And no TV either. They go to OSH for excursions and are usually there for about 5 hours max per session and they go 2-3 times per week. During the other times i am pretty close to awesome in terms of my parenting, and i bet i do more with my kids then the people making stupid nasty comments here. Also my kids have never seen commercial television, we are not on any social media, and they are not photographed constantly throughout their lives.. Take a look at your own parenting before you judge mine.

Ride scooters/ bikes/ skateboards at the park, buy cheap canvases and paints and paint pictures for Grandparents, make slime, go to the beach for a picnic/ swim/ cricket/ footy, decorate milk arrowroot bikkies, make homemade pizzas, movie day with junk food, go to the pool, science experiments, shaving cream and water play, go fishing, go to the basketball court, bushwalking, at home disco, balloon volleyball, write letters/ postcards to family and friends, do a puzzle, hopscotch, play dough, make a list of parks in your town and visit them all to find the best one, putt putt golf or driving range, make banana splits

Beach in Warmer weather, bush walks, fishing, picnic or BBQ at the park, museum, art exhibitions. We had this nice park with a lake when my Kids were younger, they loved catching tadpoles and feeding ducks.
