Why do old people stroll in front of other people at shopping centre ?

This morning an elderly couple were strolling and swaying around
I said excuse can you please move to one side and the old man said be patient
I was angry and he ended up moving cause I said do you want me to run into your ankles

They are blind and wobbly on their feet, and probably terrified of falling and breaking something. You’re the problem here, no compassion, no patience, just all round intolerant of the elderly. And how tough are you, threatening an old man with assault because he was too slow.
I bet when you’re old, you’re gonna hate the young people as much as you hate the old people now. And the young people are going to hate you too. Just like you hate the old people now.

Old people can’t move as fast as young people, and why should they have to? They’ve done the hard yards and now they’re in relaxing mode. Let them stroll, it’s not hard to go round. I bet you aggressively said excuse me if you got that response. I normally, say excuse me please, sorry I don’t want to bump you. Then I smile and say Thankyou. Not hard. Calm down.
