My kids are a little older, but I send them all down to get hot chips. Gives them something to do too.

Yes, most of us mums all do the same - much more relaxing than having to make something at home.

It depends on the child. For instance my son has a friend who doesn’t have pork so we serve beef sausage rolls. My daughter has a friend who is vegetarian so we do a vegetarian pizza. My other son has friends who don’t have any special dietary requirements so they can have hot dogs. And I put out some fruit and some chips or crackers and dip.

I would ask the parents to supply food
Not going to accommodate to religious and picky eaters

Why not just serve what you’d normally make for your own child/children for lunch. (Taking into account any allergies etc.) It’s not that hard.

My kids like having leftovers from the previous days dinner for lunch, they’re not fans of sandwiches or sausage rolls/ pies or those kinds of typical lunch things. but I’m not sure how I feel serving other kids leftovers .
