Re-entering Australia

Answered 5 days ago

Do you think that given the way things are right now than anyone choosing to leave Australia for whatever reason, should not be allowed to re-enter at this point in time?

If someone makes a conscious decision to leave Australia for any reason, why should they be let back in. They chose to leave while there is a pandemic. It's not exactly a secret

The government can't legally stop citizens returning to their own country. They can ban flights from India but desperate or sneaky people can find alternative routes.

However, I have little sympathy for those that left after the borders closed, or expats deciding returning home is a good idea because it's safer here than their virus ravaged adopted county.
